Lugburz Sleed/Demo 2011 Review

This  is  another  review  of  a  recording  from  Lugburz  Sleed  with  the  music  this  time  being  instrumental  depressive/post  black  metal  with  the  recording  being  self  released  in  2011.

Drums  range  from  slow  to  mid  paced  drumming  with  no  fast  playing  or  blast  beats  being  present on  this  recording,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very   strong  and  powerful  sound  with  some  heavy  and  dark  riffing  that  dominates  throughout  the  recording.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow  to  mid  paced  depressive  black  metal  riffs  that  use  alot  of  post  black  metal  elements  along  with  some  melodic  elements,  soft  and  clean  playing  which  gives  the  music  a  psychedelic  edge,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  melodic  sounding  post  black  metal  guitar  solos  and  leads,  as  for  the  acoustic  guitars  when  they  are  utilize  use  full  chords  to  add  more  elements  of  darkness  to  the  music.

Vocals  are  mostly  absent  from  this  recording  with  most  of  the  music  being  instrumental  except  for  the  last  song  and  they  are  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams,  while  the  song  themes  focus  on  darkness  and  depression,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  dark  and  heavy  sound  for  being  a  self  released  recording  where  you  can  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  demo.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Lugburz  Sleed  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  depressive,  post  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  demo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Untitled  3"  "Rusty  Scourge  Of  Deception".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
